Leaving South Jersey getting on Turnpike at 8:00 am. Any suggestions to get around New York City and from there on up to Keene NH based on traffic? Driving a MH with toad.

RE: Power Inverter
Your class A should have an inverter in it. What do you own? Try turning on the TV without shorepower or generator.
I have no power to the TV or DVD without shorepower or generator. I have a 2008 Damon Challenger Class A. I will check to see what kind of inverter I have that came with it. I have 12V power to the control box for all TV's and DVD players on board but not power to the TV. There are 3 outlets in the near the connection TV, DVD connection. One works when the vehicle is in Park, the other two work when the vehicle is in motion on the generator. If I could figure out how to bypass the cutoff feature of the one that works while it is in Park then I might not need an inverter. Any help is appreciated.

Power Inverter
I have a new Class A Motorhome with a TV and DVD in the front. I want to run the them off of battery power if possible instead of running the generator. I think a power inverter is my best option. I am looking for suggestions on brand and how to hook up. Does the power inverter connect to the whole coach or do I put it up with the DVD player in the cabinet then run a line to the battery from there?

New to Towing
Just bought 2008 Damon Challenger with V-10 gas motor, it can tow up to 5000lbs. I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey that we want to tow. The RV store where we bought the RV recommends the Blue Ox brand.
The price for the Blue Ox Aventa bar was $695, $350 for the face plate and $320 for installation. Should I price the bar and face plate off of the internet?
Do I need a brake assist system? The RV store did not recommend one.
